Kelsie -

June 3th - I recieved an email that they needed some last minute extras for a student film in Tampa. I emailed the Casting Director back and asked if all ages were welcome and she said Yes. We were already in the area so Kelsie and I drove out to the location. I had no idea what the film was called, what type of scene it would be or anything. I got out of the car alone and asked the director a zillion questions and when I felt comfortable with the answers I told them I had Kelsie with me and we would like to be extras. (Its a comedy about a teenager who's dad is an ultra vegan, our scene was to be protesters outside a meat plant). When Kelsie got out of the car they were in shock! She looked exactly like a younger version of the teenager. They then decided right then and there that instead of doing VO for the girls flash backs they would write in a "Young Jenny" part and Kelsie was it! She was so excited. They dressed her up in cow costume and gave her all the lines and she nailed it in just a few takes! They couldn't believe that we just showed up to be extras and she was the main characters clone. Talk about luck!

Oh yeah, a few days later, Kelsie got to go into the studio to record her dialoug. It was the first time she was in a real, big recording studio and although she was really nervous at first, she said it was "SO AWESOME". I was so proud of her. Too bad I forgot the camera. :(

June 4th - Kelsie was cast as a "Scooter Girl" in a short named "2-Day Rental" produced by the students at International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa! She had lots of fun throwing her shoe at the main character! Nana was on set with her for the day.
